Vaqueros Dominate in 5–0 Shutout Over Canyons

The Glendale College Vaqueros delivered an impressive all-around performance in a 5–0 shutout win over College of the Canyons at John Cicuto Stadium, extending their strong conference form to 3–2–2.

The Vaqueros came out firing, with Armen Kozanian striking early in the third minute to set the tone. Albert Ghazaryan followed with back-to-back goals in the first half, giving Glendale a commanding 3–0 lead before halftime. Daren Stepanians added two more goals, one assisted by Erik Amirkhanyan, to seal the dominant win.

Glendale's defense was just as strong, holding Canyons scoreless despite 12 shot attempts. Goalkeeper Arvin Navasartian was outstanding, recording 10 saves to earn the shutout before Christian Galdamez finished the match with a clean final stretch in goal.

With sharp passing, tight defense, and balanced scoring across the field, Glendale controlled the pace from start to finish, improving to 6–4–7 overall on the season.
