Claudia Orejuela, A.T. has been part of the Vaquero family since arriving at Glendale College in 1996 as a proud student‑athlete. She helped pave the way for future generations as a member of the inaugural women’s soccer team, and she brought that same drive and heart to the women’s basketball program. Claudia’s time as a student here shaped her deeply, both on the field and in the classroom. After earning her A.A. from Glendale College, she continued her journey at Cal State Northridge, where she once again laced up her cleats for the women’s soccer team and completed her B.S. in Kinesiology. Her passion for athletics and care for others eventually led her back home to Glendale—this time as a health care professional who understood firsthand the challenges and dreams of student‑athletes. Claudia later earned her master’s degree from Cal State Long Beach, further strengthening her commitment to serving students with compassion, knowledge, and the perspective of someone who has lived their experience. But beyond her achievements and years of dedication, Claudia is most proud of her role as a mother. Her two boys are her heart, her motivation, and her greatest joy. Claudia J. Mike Misetich has been an athlete for most of his life, and it was during those years on the field that he discovered his passion for athletic training. After his own playing days came to an end, he found a new purpose on the sidelines as an athletic training student, supporting others the way his mentors once supported him. He earned his Bachelor’s in Kinesiology with a focus on Applied Fitness and Lifestyle from Cal State Northridge, then returned to CSUN to complete his Master’s in Athletic Training. Throughout his training, Mike gained hands-on experience in a variety of clinical settings, including high school athletics, collegiate programs, and even the film industry—an experience that strengthened both his adaptability and his commitment to athlete care. Outside of work, Mike loves spending time in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, getting outdoors whenever he can, and cheering on the Dodgers. Mike Misetich, MS, ATC |
