The Glendale Vaqueros put together a strong second-half effort but came up short in a 73–63 loss to Long Beach on December 13 at Glendale College. After trailing 32–24 at halftime, GCC scored 39 points in the second half, but Long Beach's consistent offense down the stretch held the advantage.
Brandon Blair paced the Vaqueros with a game-high 23 points, shooting 7-of-13 from the field and a perfect 8-for-8 from the free-throw line. Omree Bentov added 13 points, four rebounds, and four assists while playing all 40 minutes. Hunter Smith finished with nine points and five rebounds, and Armen Darakchyan contributed six points, seven rebounds, and two assists.
Off the bench, Jacob Allen provided a spark with five points on efficient shooting. Glendale shot 100% from the free-throw line as a team, but turnovers and Long Beach's rebounding edge proved costly. Despite the result, GCC showed resilience and balanced contributions in a competitive home matchup.
