The Glendale Vaqueros men's basketball team (2–3) put together their strongest offensive performance of the season, powering past Pasadena City 92–80 on the road. Glendale exploded for 53 first-half points and knocked down 16 threes overall, shooting a blazing 51.6% from deep.
Brandon Blair led the way with 24 points, hitting four threes and adding five rebounds and four assists. Hunter Smith was right behind him, pouring in 21 points on 5–9 shooting from three, while also dishing four assists. Omree Bentov delivered a huge all-around outing with 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists, including four threes of his own.
Inside, Armen Darakchyan provided toughness and efficiency with 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists, and Isaac Vergara gave the bench a lift with 7 points and 3 steals.
Glendale shot an impressive 53.3% from the field and totaled 25 assists, controlling the pace from start to finish. The Vaqueros move back into the win column with momentum as they continue non-conference play.
