Glendale Cruises Past Cerro Coso for 69–52 Win

The Glendale Vaqueros returned home and delivered one of their most complete performances of the season, defeating Cerro Coso 69–52 behind efficient shooting, balanced scoring, and active team defense. Glendale controlled the game from start to finish, building a 37–26 halftime lead and maintaining a steady margin throughout the second half.

The Vaqueros' offense clicked early, moving the ball well and generating high-quality looks from the perimeter. Glendale knocked down 10 three-pointers and shot 42.9% from the field, their second-best shooting night of the season. Defensively, Glendale forced turnovers, limited second-chance opportunities, and held Cerro Coso to just 4-of-18 from three.

Once again, Omree Bentov set the tone with an outstanding performance. He poured in 24 points on 9-of-13 shooting, including four threes, and added five rebounds. Bentov scored in every way—spot-ups, drives, and transition—fueling Glendale's momentum whenever Cerro Coso attempted to close the gap.

Brandon Blair provided another strong offensive outing with 19 points, hitting three threes and attacking the lane with confidence. He also added two assists and two steals while keeping the Vaqueros in control of the tempo.

Glendale's supporting cast stepped up in key moments. Hunter Smith knocked down two threes and handed out three assists. Armen Darakchyan delivered one of his most impactful games of the season, scoring six points and grabbing seven boards, while contributing defensively with two steals. Myles Wainwright added five assists and three steals, orchestrating the offense even on a night when his shots didn't fall.

The bench provided energy and quality minutes as well—Cayden Hennessy hit a timely three, Isaac Vergara continued his defensive activity with two steals, and Omar Payind added valuable playmaking and defensive pressure.

Glendale improves to 2–3 on the season with the win, showing growth on both ends of the floor. With improved ball movement, three-point shooting, and defensive consistency, the Vaqueros look to carry this momentum into their upcoming matchups.
