Glendale Falls on the Road to Mt. San Antonio, 76–54

The Glendale Vaqueros couldn't recover from a slow start on Saturday afternoon, dropping a 76–54 road matchup to Mt. San Antonio. Glendale struggled early and trailed 33–18 at halftime, and despite a stronger second-half push, the deficit proved too large to overcome.

Mt. SAC's efficient shooting night contrasted Glendale's offensive challenges, as the Vaqueros shot 34% from the field and 28.6% from three. Glendale found more rhythm after the break, putting up 36 points in the second half, but Mt. SAC continued to answer every run.

Glendale's brightest performance came from Omree Bentov, who turned in a strong all-around effort with 24 points on 8-of-13 shooting, including two threes and six made free throws. Bentov provided consistent scoring throughout the night and attacked the interior effectively.

Brandon Blair added 15 points and 6 rebounds, knocking down two threes and going 5-of-8 at the line. Though Mt. SAC keyed in defensively, Blair still created timely offense and paced Glendale during several stretches in the second half.

The Vaqueros also received smaller but steady contributions elsewhere. Hunter Smith hit a three and added four points, while Cayden Hennessy provided a spark off the bench with a made three. Isaac Vergara gave Glendale energy in limited minutes with a pair of steals and three points, and Joshua Ballard added a bucket late.

However, Glendale struggled to find consistent offensive flow and couldn't match Mt. SAC's efficiency, particularly inside. Mt. SAC's rebounding edge and ability to get to the free-throw line helped them maintain control throughout the game.

With the loss, Glendale drops to 1–3 on the season. The Vaqueros will look to rebound as they continue their road stretch and search for more offensive consistency heading into their next matchup.
