The Glendale College Vaqueros faced another tough test at home Wednesday night, falling 3–0 to the visiting Santa Monica College Corsairs (25–19, 25–11, 25–15). Despite strong effort and energy from the Glendale squad, Santa Monica's balanced attack and efficient hitting proved too much to overcome. 

While Glendale struggled to find its offensive rhythm, the Vaqueros showed flashes of resilience—particularly in the first set when they kept pace with the Corsairs early on. Defensively, the team worked hard to slow down Santa Monica's quick attack and maintain composure in long rallies.

The loss moves Glendale to 2–15 overall and 0–6 in conference play. The Vaqueros will look to regroup and rebound as they continue their home stand next week.
