The Glendale College Vaqueros battled hard in a 5–1 loss to LA Valley on Tuesday at John Cicuto Stadium. Despite the setback, Glendale showed strong effort and teamwork throughout the game.
Goalkeeper Liliana Reynoso stood out with 22 saves, keeping the Vaqueros in the match against a powerful offense. Glendale's goal came in the 66th minute from Katherine Avizuris Aguirre (#17), assisted by Natalie Ramirez (#10).
Angie Garcia added two shots on goal, while Patile Hovaghimian and Andrea Banuelos anchored the defense with solid performances. The Vaqueros will look to carry this determination into their next game.
