The Glendale Vaqueros women's basketball team continued its strong conference run with a convincing 68–42 home win over College of the Canyons on Saturday, January 10, 2026. Glendale set the tone early with a 21–10 first quarter and never looked back, outscoring the Cougars in every period to improve to 2–0 in conference play.

Shadel Ffrench led the way for Glendale with a dominant performance inside, finishing with 15 points and 15 rebounds to record a double-double. Mariah Maestas and Sammy Velasquez each scored 10 points, with Maestas knocking down three three-pointers and Velasquez adding 2 steals.

Kaitlin Johnson contributed 8 points, 4 assists, and 3 steals, while Ligia Gonzalez added 7 points. Off the bench, Glendale's depth was on display as Ella Costley chipped in 7 points, and Aniah Bradley provided an energetic effort with 4 points and 3 steals.
