The Glendale Vaqueros faced a tough test at home on December 12, falling 70–46 to an undefeated MiraCosta squad. Glendale stayed competitive early and held a one-point lead after the first quarter, but MiraCosta pulled away in the second half with a strong fourth-quarter push.

Shadel Ffrench led the Vaqueros with a standout performance, posting 17 points and 15 rebounds for a double-double, along with three blocks in the paint. Sammy Velasquez added 11 points and three assists, while Mariah Maestas chipped in eight points, hitting two three-pointers and adding three steals.

Despite the loss, Glendale showed effort on the boards, outrebounding MiraCosta 40–31. The Vaqueros move to 6–4 on the season and will look to build off the performance as they continue conference play.
