The Glendale College Vaqueros controlled the game from start to finish on Saturday, defeating Imperial Valley 58–41 behind strong rebounding, steady defense, and key scoring bursts.

Shadel Ffrench led the way with a dominant 15-point, 11-rebound double-double, including six offensive boards. Off the bench, Ligia Gonzalez provided a major lift with 13 points on efficient 6-of-9 shooting, while Mariah Maestas added 9 points and two made threes to keep Glendale's offense flowing.

Starter Kaitlin Johnson sparked the defense with 4 steals and 5 points, and Sammy Velasquez contributed 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals. Aniah Bradley helped control the interior with 6 rebounds, and Ashlee Medrano chipped in 4 points off the bench.

The Vaqueros outrebounded Imperial Valley 31–16, collected 12 steals, and held them to just 41 points in one of their strongest defensive showings of the season.

Glendale improves to 3–1 with a confident home victory and solid contributions across the roster.
