Glendale dropped a tightly contested 2–1 game to Antelope Valley, with both teams locked in a pitching battle throughout. Antelope Valley struck early with a run in the first and added another in the fifth, while Glendale answered in the fourth but couldn't find the tying run late.
Despite the loss, several GCC players delivered strong performances. Azusena Lopez led the offense, going 2-for-3 with a solo home run that accounted for Glendale's only run. Mia Sanchez contributed both at the plate and in the circle, recording a hit while pitching a complete game, allowing just two runs (none earned) and keeping the Vaqueros within striking distance. Jazmin Jaquez also added a hit, while Taylor Bangs showed aggressiveness on the bases with a stolen base. Although Glendale was limited to four hits, the team stayed competitive behind Sanchez's strong outing and Lopez's power at the plate.
