The Glendale Vaqueros opened the second half of Western State Conference South action and it was a tight game as both sides traded runs. The game ended as the host Bakersfield Renegades walked it in the ninth inning 9-8.

In the game, Mimi Sanchez pitched for eight and two thirds of an inning striking out seven batters - moving her strikeout total to 149 overall across 108 innings in the circle. Sanchez got the offense started in the second inning as the Vaqs battled four different times to take the lead. 

Olivia Ziebell-White finished with a team-high three hits which included two doubles, one triple and scored twice - marking her seventh career multi-hit game of the season. Azusena Lopez and Izzy Mendoza finished with two hits apiece and drove home two runs at the plate. Jeyslen Orial and Catarina Anzalone had two hits.
