The Glendale Vaqueros increased on the winning streak to four straight after another dominant one against the Monarchs of LA Valley 8-2.

Down 1-0, Azusena Lopez increased her hitting streak to 21 consecutive games with a two-run single scoring Valerie Montes and Mia Jurado in the second inning and in the end Lopez recorded three runs batted in. Jazmin Jaquez provided the insurance the Vaqs much needed with her three run homerun in the fourth. Catarina Anzalone and Mia Jurado finished with two hits apiece. Anzalone and Annaliese Ruiz each scored twice. 

Mimi Sanchez was dominant in the circle, going all seven innings with nine strikeouts allowing two runs to pick up her 11th win of the year. 

GCC (18-9) will next be in action this Saturday, March 28 against the Chaffey College Panthers apart of a doubleheader that will begin at 12pm. The next home game will be on Tuesday, April 7 against conference rival Antelope Valley College Marauders with first pitch slated for 2pm.
