Glendale attempted a late comeback but fell 7–5 to Compton on March 14.
The Vaqueros recorded six hits, led by Alyssa Perez, who went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Azusena Lopez also had a strong performance, finishing 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI, while Jeyslen Orial, Mia Sanchez, and Olivia Ziebell-White each added a hit.
Compton built an early lead, scoring runs in the first, second, and fourth innings before adding four runs in the fifth to extend the advantage to 7–0.
Glendale responded late, scoring two runs in the sixth inning on an RBI double from Lopez and a sacrifice fly by Jazmin Jaquez. The Vaqueros added three more runs in the seventh, highlighted by an RBI single from Perez.
In the circle, Mia Sanchez started the game and struck out six batters over four innings, while Jazmin Jaquez pitched the final two innings in relief.
Despite the late push, Glendale's comeback effort came up short in the two-run loss.
