Glendale was shut out 2–0 by Bakersfield despite recording more hits in the contest.

Glendale finished with seven hits, led by Jazmin Jaquez, who went 2-for-3 at the plate. Catarina Anzalone, Azusena Lopez, Annaliese Ruiz, Mia Sanchez, and Alyssa Perez each added a hit for the Vaqueros.

In the circle, Mia Sanchez pitched a strong complete game, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits while striking out eight over seven innings.

Bakersfield scored its runs in the third and sixth innings, and pitcher Alexia Martinez held Glendale scoreless to secure the win.

Despite the loss, Glendale's pitching kept the game close throughout the seven-inning matchup.
