The Glendale Vaqueros went on the road for the first time this season and with the bases loaded and no outs in the fourth inning a diving catch by right fielder Olivia Ziebell-White preserved a 5-1 victory at Oxnard to improve to 6-0 overall. 

Mia Sanchez (3-0) was equally impressive as she threw a complete game, striking out 13 for the second time this season. She allowed just one hit.  At the plate, Mia had three hits with three RBIs including a double. Catarina Anzalone finished with two hits (including a first pitch bunt to start off Glendale's 10-hit attack) and scored twice. Alyssa Perez also had two hits. 

The Vaqueros will wrap up their three game road trip against Western State Conference Northern Division rival in the Santa Barbara City College Vaqueros this Thursday, February 5th with first pitch from Pershing Park slated for 12pm and the second game to begin about 30 minutes after the first game.
