Glendale’s Season Ends in Second Round After 7–2 Loss to Cerritos

Glendale's season came to an end in the second round of the playoffs after a tough 7–2 loss on the road to No. 5-seed Cerritos. After falling behind 2–0 in the first half, the Vaqueros briefly swung the momentum in the second with two quick goals from Edgar Naghdalyan, who scored in the 54th and 55th minutes off assists from Albert Ghazaryan and Kevin Anjunyan to tie the match, 2–2.

But Cerritos responded immediately and took back control, scoring five more goals in the final 30 minutes. Glendale goalkeeper Arvin Navasartian finished with seven saves while facing 20 total shots.

Glendale recorded seven shots in the match—four on target—with Naghdalyan contributing three and Stepanians and Anjunyan adding the others. The Vaqueros finish their season with a 9-6-7 record after making it to the second round of the postseason.
