Glendale Stuns Bakersfield With Last-Minute Winner, 5–4

In one of the wildest matches of the season in the first round of playoffs, Glendale pulled off a thrilling 5–4 comeback win at Bakersfield, scoring three times in the final 30 minutes, including the game-winner in the 90th minute.

Bakersfield struck first in the 9th minute, but Glendale responded with back-to-back goals at the 15th and 26th minutes to take a 2–1 lead. Bakersfield equalized before halftime and then surged ahead 4–2 with goals in the 53rd and 54th minutes.

Down two, the Vaqueros came alive.

Glendale scored in the 60th minute to trim the deficit, then found an 87th-minute equalizer that swung momentum entirely their way. With seconds remaining, Glendale delivered the decisive blow—another team goal in the 90th minute—to complete the comeback and secure the victory.

The match featured five Glendale yellow cards, all issued in the first half, but the Vaqueros maintained composure and pushed through late. Goalkeeper Arvin Navasartian played the full 90 minutes, facing four Bakersfield goals.

With the win, Glendale advances to the second round of the playoffs and caps off a resilient performance marked by fight, discipline under pressure, and clutch scoring when it mattered most.
