The Glendale College Vaqueros fought hard on the road Friday afternoon, earning a 1–1 draw against Bakersfield College in a tough conference matchup.
Midfielder Albert Ghazaryan gave Glendale the early lead in the 21st minute, capitalizing on a loose ball and finishing with precision for his first goal of the season. The Vaqueros maintained strong defensive pressure throughout the first half, anchored by Erik Amirkhanyan, Michael Malolepszy, and Alejandro Nunez, who kept Bakersfield's attack contained.
In goal, Hayk Tovmasyan played the full 90 minutes, making several key stops and commanding the box to keep the Vaqueros in control for much of the match. Bakersfield managed to equalize late in the 82nd minute, but Glendale stayed composed and held firm to secure the draw.
The result marks another resilient performance for Glendale, who continue to show strong teamwork and discipline as the regular season winds down.
