Vaqueros Fall on the Road to Grossmont, 37–17

The Glendale College Vaqueros wrapped up their regular season with a 37–17 loss at Grossmont on November 8. Despite the final score, the Vaqueros showed strong early momentum and key performances from both sides of the ball.

Glendale opened the game with a 44-yard field goal from Alejandro Pereyra, who finished perfect on the day (1-for-1 FG, 2-for-2 PAT). Later in the first quarter, Christian Breazeale connected with Zamondre Merriweather for a 14-yard touchdown, giving Glendale a 10–7 lead. In the fourth quarter, Braden Brimhall found Luke Hyan for a 17-yard touchdown pass, closing out the scoring for the Vaqueros.

On offense, Glendale tallied 214 total yards, with Breazeale throwing for 139 yards and a touchdown, and Hyan and Merriweather each recording 4 receptions for over 35 yards. Rick Langarica led the rushing attack with 24 yards on 5 carries, while also adding a 16-yard reception.

Defensively, the Vaqueros were led by Colin Fahrberger, who recorded 12 total tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss. Mark Edwards Jr. added 9 tackles, while Donovan Howard and Eddie Azarian each contributed multiple stops behind the line. Kylan Cosey forced and recovered a fumble, and Angel Tehutli delivered Glendale's only sack of the day for a 16-yard loss.

Although Grossmont controlled possession, Glendale continued to fight until the end, showing discipline with fewer penalties and determination on both sides of the ball. The Vaqueros close their season 5–5 overall (2–3 conference), displaying progress and resilience throughout the year.
