After falling behind early, the Vaqueros responded with a steady offensive attack before breaking the game open in the middle innings. Jake Price helped spark the comeback, finishing with a hit and two RBIs, including a sacrifice fly that capped a four-run fourth inning.
Adrian Contreras continued his strong stretch, reaching base multiple times and scoring three runs while adding an RBI to help fuel Glendale's offense. James Harrington delivered in key moments, going 2-for-3 with an RBI, while David Lozano added a triple and drove in a run as part of the sixth-inning push.
The biggest swing came from Noah Jaquez, who launched a three-run home run in the seventh inning to put the game out of reach. Jaquez finished with two hits and a game-high four RBIs, leading the offensive explosion.
In a memorable moment, Tanner Teffs launched his first home run of the season, a two-run shot that helped fuel Glendale's decisive seventh-inning surge. Teffs finished with a hit, two RBIs, and a run scored, providing a key spark and delivering one of the most impactful swings of the game.
At the top of the lineup, Jackson Lyons collected two hits and scored a run, while Miguel Villegas added two hits to keep the offense rolling. Jackson Pratt chipped in with two hits and a run scored as Glendale piled up 16 hits on the day.
On the mound, Michael Guerrero was outstanding in relief, earning the win with five shutout innings while allowing just one hit and striking out four. Anthony Yepez got the start, and Cris Banuelos helped close things out with two scoreless innings to secure the victory.
With the win, the Vaqs finish the regular season at 29-10-1 overall and 18-3 in conference play, officially claiming the WSC South title and carrying strong momentum into the postseason.
