Glendale pulled off a thrilling 14–13 win over Bakersfield in a back-and-forth battle, using a huge late-game rally to complete the comeback. After falling behind early and trailing deep into the game, the Vaqueros exploded for five runs in the eighth inning and added the game-winning run in the ninth to secure the victory.

GCC's offense was led by Noah Jaquez, who had a monster performance, going 4-for-6 with two doubles, 2 RBIs, and scoring five runs. Charlie Carafotes also delivered in a big way, finishing 4-for-5 with 2 RBIs, including the go-ahead RBI in the ninth. Andrew Garcia contributed with two hits and 2 RBIs, while Miguel Villegas added two hits and an RBI. Adonis Jenkins chipped in with two hits and an RBI, and Matt Hazlegrove came through with a clutch two-RBI double in the seventh to keep Glendale within striking distance.

On the mound, Carson Maymo earned the win with three innings of relief, helping stabilize the game late, while Jorge Martinez shut the door in the ninth to record the save.
