Glendale delivered a dominant offensive performance in a 15–2 victory over Canyons on March 13, powered by big hits and strong pitching.
The Vaqueros struck early when Noah Jaquez launched a three-run home run in the first inning to give Glendale a quick lead. Glendale continued to build momentum in the second inning as David Lozano crushed a grand slam, extending the lead to 7–0.
Lozano had a huge day at the plate, finishing 2-for-5 with two home runs and seven RBIs, including a three-run homer in the fourth inning that helped break the game open. Jaquez also had a strong performance, going 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, and three RBIs.
Trevor Lain added three hits and scored a run, while Jackson Pratt contributed an RBI single and finished with two RBIs. Adonis Jenkins recorded two hits and scored a run, and Jackson Lyons drove in a run and scored once.
Glendale's pitching staff controlled the game throughout. Jimmy Cafferty started and threw four innings, allowing one run while striking out six. Michael Guerrero earned the win in relief, pitching four innings with seven strikeouts, and Jorge Martinez closed the game with a scoreless ninth inning.
The Vaqueros totaled 13 hits and three home runs, improving to 14-7-1 overall and 4-2 in conference play with the decisive win.
