Glendale wasted no time jumping on the board, exploding for five runs in the first inning and four more in the second to build an early 9–1 lead. The Vaqueros continued to apply pressure throughout the game, finishing with 17 runs on 18 hits.
Mike Bang led the offensive charge with a dominant performance, going 4-for-5 with four runs scored and three RBIs, including a home run and a double. Miguel Villegas also had a standout game, finishing 4-for-5 with three RBIs and two runs scored, while adding a double and a home run of his own.
Power continued to fuel the Glendale offense. Jordan Viramontes blasted a three-run home run, finishing with three RBIs, and Jackson Pratt added another three-run homer while driving in three runs. Noah Jaquez contributed two RBIs and two runs scored, collecting two doubles in the win.
Behind the plate, Trevor Lain had a strong day offensively, going 3-for-5 with two runs scored, while Adonis Jenkins added two hits and a double at the top of the lineup.
On the mound, John Trainor earned the win in relief after throwing two innings, while Cris Banuelos helped stabilize the game with three innings of relief, allowing just one run.
Despite Citrus mounting a late push, Glendale's early offensive outburst proved too much to overcome as the Vaqueros improved to 12-6-1 overall and 2-1 in conference play.
