Beach Volleyball Opens Season at Rosie’s Dog Beach

The Beach Volleyball team kicks off its 2026 season on Friday, January 23, with a scenic season opener at Rosie's Dog Beach in Long Beach, one of Southern California's premier beach volleyball venues. With sand, sun, and a fresh slate, the match marks the official start of a new year filled with growth, competition, and promise.

Head Coach Yvette Ybarra enters the season energized and optimistic, highlighting a roster that blends experienced sophomores with a talented group of incoming freshmen. The mix has created a competitive and energetic environment in practice, setting the tone for a season focused on development, chemistry, and confidence on the sand.

"This group brings a lot of hunger and enthusiasm," said Ybarra.
