Chris Hale - Alumni Speaker

Chris Hale was an All-American Defensive Back for Glendale in 1986. The Vaqueros were ranked No. 1 by J.C. Grid-Wire for most of the 1986 season and was 10-0 before losing the Pony Bowl. The GCC defense allowed just 113 points during the season and shutout four conference opponents 189-0.

He was a two-time CIF Southern Section Long Jump Champion at Monrovia High in 1983-84 and was recruited to run track at the University of Nebraska out of high school.
Hale played in championship games in high school, at Glendale College, at USC and in the NFL but was on the losing end all seven times. He played in two Rose Bowl games at USC in 1987-88 and also played in three Super Bowls with the NFL’s Buffalo Bills from 1991-93.

He has been the color analyst for Fox Sports West/Prepzone television broad casts for the past several years for high school games of the week in Southern California. He was also recently hired by the NFL as the uniform inspector for Los Angeles Rams games and is the President of the NFL Alumni Inc. Southern California Chapter.

He was inducted into the GCC Athletic Hall of Fame in 2011 for Outstanding Athletic Achievement.
