Glendale beats Santa Barbara 76-45 in Bakesfield Tourney
Five Glendale players scored in double figures to pace the Vaqueros to a 76-45 win Saturday in the Bakersfield Tourney to improve to 6-10 this season.
The game was tied at 27 all after the first half but GCC breezed to the win by scoring 49 points in the second half. Andre Banton paced the offense with 23 points including four three pointers and Samer Naser added 13 points off the bench including three from behind the three point arc. Tre'j Floyd added 12 points and Eric Ting and Tevan Khudatyan had 10 points each. Khudatyan led the team with 11 rebounds as the Vaqs had a strong advantage with 50 on the night and Ting led the team with seven assists.
Glendale continues con-conference play with a game Wednesday Jan. 9 at Santa Monica at 6 pm.
