Title: Hitting Coach / Outfielders

Coach Plasencia began his coaching career at San Fernando High School where he served as the Head JV baseball coach for five seasons from 2008-2012. In his fifth and final season at the JV level his team won the Valley Mission League championship. At the beginning of the 2013 season, coach Plasencia was promoted to serve as the infield coach for the Varsity baseball team. He helped lead that team to a school record 33 wins and the second Division 1 City Section championship in 3 yrs. In the Fall of 2014, coach Plasencia was hired as the outfield coach at Glendale Community College, joining his former coach andcurrent head coach Chris Cicuto as well as former teammates Alex Kocol, Ivan Lopez and Justin Togeas on the Vaquero coaching staff. Coach Plasencia's youngest brother Sergio, a recent graduate of the University of Dayton, Ohio has joined the coaching staff. In his spare time, coach Plasencia serves as the Head Coach of a local travel baseball club called the La Crescenta Thunder developing future Vaqueros.
